The Art Of Communicating Science,
Innovation & Sustainable Development

Lab To Media, science communication agancy

Science, the environment and sustainable development are headline-making subjects, so they must be important, right? Why, then, is scientific research crying out for more public and private investment? Why are young people not entering science careers, and experienced researchers leaving their labs for greener pastures? What can be done about it?

First, accurate information is needed on the extent of the problem. The general public needs this to better understand the issues. Markets need it to know where the innovation gaps are and how to plug them with fresh ideas and funding. Policy-makers need it before deciding on strategies, funding options and policies to reverse the negative trends and/or promote the positive ones. The stakes are high: Europe’s socio-economic fabric is in the balance.

But the catch is getting the information out to all these parties, effectively and in a format that is easy to understand and use.

Well-orchestrated communication
Powerful communication is rarely built round one-off inspiration – success comes from commitment to a well-orchestrated ‘communication process’. LAB TO MEDIA agency and its partners are experts in the scientific audiovisual arena, matching stakeholders’ needs with the right strategies, information products, message and mode of delivery.

LAB TO MEDIA’s clients are guided through this ‘process’ – step-by-step if need be – from strategy formulation, media selection, message creation and delivery, to cost management and final impact studies.

LAB TO MEDIA develops and manages a network of ‘accredited’ partners throughout the European Union. Inventiveness, reliable working methods, and an eye for detail are LAB TO MEDIA’s quality criteria… ensuring clients get the right communication product and medium to match.
